At The Edge Steakhouse, Specialty Chef Nyitre Rodgers brings bold flavor and refined technique to every plate. A proud Maryland native with a passion-fueled journey into the culinary world, she channels creativity, resilience, and precision into a modern, elevated steakhouse experience.

Chef Rodgers earned her culinary degree from Johnson & Wales University and quickly made her mark, working alongside industry icons including Marcus Samuelsson, José Andrés, Bryan Voltaggio, and Chef Jean-Georges at The Miami Beach EDITION. Her impressive career spans roles with the Carolina Panthers during their Super Bowl season, MGM National Harbor, and Marriott properties nationwide. She was also selected for the esteemed Marriott Emerging Leaders Program in recognition of her culinary talent and leadership.

Today, Chef Rodgers collaborates with Executive Chef Bruno Lopez to reimagine steakhouse classics through an ingredient-driven, seasonally inspired lens—bringing vibrant sophistication and artistic flair to every dish.

Meet Daniel Rodriguez

Steakhouse Manager

Born and raised in the Coachella Valley, Daniel Rodriguez brings a deep understanding of the local community and the high expectations of both locals and visitors. His passion lies in creating personalized dining experiences that reflect the unique tastes and preferences of each guest.

With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry—including nearly 9 years with The Ritz-Carlton—Daniel is a seasoned leader in delivering luxury service and elevating the guest experience. He played a key role in the rebranding of The Ritz-Carlton Bacara in Santa Barbara, showcasing his ability to execute brand vision and innovation at the highest level.

Daniel's expertise extends into the beverage world as well. He was recently selected to travel to Kentucky to hand-select a single barrel of Eagle Rare bourbon, a testament to his refined palate and commitment to curating exceptional offerings for guests at The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage.

In February 2023, Daniel was appointed as Steakhouse Manager for the grand reopening of The Edge Steakhouse, where he now leads the front-of-house team with passion and precision. He strives to set new standards in both service and beverage excellence.
